LEVEL 1:

The first level is the basic course for a beginner who has never had any prior basic knowledge in Polish; Students will be introduced to basic vocabulary along with the practice of elementary conversation and dialogue pattern and acquire the use of everyday expressions and basic phrases.

LEVEL 2:

Students will learn limited vocabulary and a little conversational language; communicate in simple and direct exchange of information on familiar matters, communicate using very simple phrases and began to deal with situations necessary to survive in a Polish-speaking environment e.g. travel, accommodation, shopping.

LEVEL 3:

At this level, students will be able to communicate adequately in simple everyday situations, learn simple coherent texts on topics which are familiar or of personal interest, describe experiences and events as well as dreams, hopes and ambitions, give reasons and explanations for opinions/plans etc.

LEVEL 4:

Able to grasp the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, interact with a degree of spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers. Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

LEVEL 5:

Students at this level are able to understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognize implicit meaning. Express oneself fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions, use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes and produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects.

LEVEL 6:

At this level, the student can understand with ease virtually everything heard or read. Summarize information from different spoken and written sources, reconstructing arguments and accounts in a coherent presentation. Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in more complex situations.
